Run For God

We are about 2 weeks out from starting!  I am getting excited and hope you are too!! I just wanted to share some information with you. We will be meeting at the YMCA teen building on Orange Street, Wauchula! Our first meeting is Monday, Feburary 6th at 6:30.  Childcare will be provided.  (Just to make sure we have enough help please send me a message if you plan on bringing your children so that we can be prepared!) There is no cost to this study!! However, there is s book that is recommened.  The cost is $19. We are going to go ahead and preorder some books.  If you would like me to go ahead and get a book for you please let me know! We will place an order now and again after our first meeting together. Also some exciting news the YMCA is providing a 1 month free membership to all those that attend our RUN For GOD study.  Calvin at the Y will have a list of all people who attend.  If you are interested in this please ask for Calvin at the YMCA! -Jessica Murdock sendmemissions@yahoo.com The 5K Challenge is a practical guide to running and a 12-week training plan aimed at running a 5K, but with a Christian focus. Although people run for many different reasons, this book is for those who make God the center of their lives-or need to be reminded to do so. The tone is conversational and accessible, and the workout plans, discussion questions, and Bible verses make it both a practical resource and a workbook for individuals and groups, especially beginning runners. From advice about shoes and Christian music for ones MP3 player, to tips on race etiquette, the book will be useful and inspirational. Run For God The 5K Challenge is part bible study and part training program. The primary goal is to learn to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ while understanding the parallels of enduring a sport like running and enduring your faith. This study is for everyone! In fact, this study is designed for those who have never run, and if you have never ran in your life, there is no better time to start than now. SendMeMissions will be speaking at First Christian Church of Wauchula this Sunday, 
Jan. 15th at 10:45am

We will also be sharing about an upcoming mission trip that you can be involved in. 

We hope to see you there!

We'll have a table in the welcome area prior to and after the morning worship service. 

Join us this Sunday at 4pm to prayer for the Dominican Republic Mission Trip that we will be going on. This is a time for ALL to get together and prayer (not just those going on the trip). 

We will be meeting at First Christian Church to pray specifically for God's hand of protection, His guidance, the people of the DR, effectiveness, mission Team Members & their families, spiritual leadership, finances and many other aspects of the trip. 

Remember, YOU CAN BE INVOLVED IN MISSIONS!!!
